by Jon C,This is only the best calorie tracker because of the food database. But just for that it gets 4 stars. For caloric needs, weight loss goals, and all exercise, there are just too many variables. People can be easily misled. I suggest doing your own research about all of these things in regards to calories in/calories out, exercise, etc...for your own needs and goals. Manually enter your kcal and only use the app for a calorie/macro/micro counter which, as I say, it's easily the number one for.

by ??,I totally recommend it! It tells you how many calories you should be eating and other nutritional information. It also gives other recommendations on how to lose weight along with a built in search system for calorie information so you don't have to Google it everytime. The app has tonsss of other features and the dairy/tracking system is super user friendly. Get it! 10/10

by Michael C.,My only caveat with this app is the fact that you can't edit the foods you create. Some foods aren't in the myfitnesspal database so you have to add them yourself. It also takes forever for them to update errors and mistakes I report. A lot of people don't like adding SODIUM or leave other nutritional info or when submitting food. It's infuriatingly blood boiling. Salt is very important to body weight as it can cause a few lbs of water weight and increases risk of heart disease.

by Mary,I couldn't understand why I was gaining weight and my doctor just kept saying calories in, weight on. So I used this app and started recording everything I eat. Less than 1,000 calories a day.... Love the ability to barscan any item you have and get the information but I am still working on adding a recipe. Massive list of foods are already included. I can't exercise because of health issues so I know it will be a long road but I'm determined. 5/26/2021... App broken.

My only gripe is the small local businesses that don't have nutrition info online and the undercounting of burned calories from walking. Edit 06-04-2021: I have just determined that I cannot copy a recipe.. it would be a wonderful help to do that so I can easily create a variety of the same recipie (for example variations on cottage cheese ice cream with different fruit bases)
